Illusion of Life

Reblogged from Thoughts and Reflection

So many dreams, so many aspirations,
Moments of anxiety, of pain of desperations.
Forgetful of meaning, of the purpose of life,
Battling painstakingly, a self created eternal strife....

The World as we see it

Whatever changes cannot be true. The world as we see it today is not the same in past and would not be same in future as well. Hence it is not real. It can be defined as an illusive reality. There is one permanent, unchanging reality or existence behind changing universe. It is the essence of all beings and phenomena. It is sometimes referred as state of enlightenment, the state of pure consciousness.
From here starts the concept of God, world and individual being and their inter relationship.

In fact the search of Physics also culminates in an attempt to find one single source of energy, which can explain all other phenomena. In an attempt to probe into reality, the human mind reaches higher level of consciousness. It becomes calm, collected and desire becomes less. At the final stage of realization, the person crosses over the barriers of mind and words alone cannot define this experience.
A famous example of Vedanta philosophy- snake and rope. When we see the rope, our vision and perception is clear. But as soon as darkness-ignorance come, we confuse the rope with snake. Only a teacher can show us the difference snake and rope.  Ignorance has to be destroyed by force of awakening, When a man sees snake, he starts running but as soon as his dream ends, he realises the truth. Similarly, our attachments to this world are like dreams. Love, hatred, jealousy and so on surface only because of our mistaken belief about Rope(Reality) as something else.

Finally something good...

When in june'12 I finished my engineering, I had no job. I was unemployed. But it was not only my story as the market hit economic breakdown and most of the fresh graduates ended being unemployed. I was depressed not because I was unemployed, but because I had to spend rest of the days at home. I had few interviews lined up and  they went pretty well but I guess, interviewers had contradictory opinion. I got selected in none.
I just felt that happiness has deserted me and had nothing to do. But thanks to God that yesterday, finally the drought ended and for the first time in this year, I got news that really made me feel at cloud nine. I was selected for PO progrmme of ICICI bank. It may be very strange for few people to know an Engineer ending as asst. manager in a bank but the thing is that I need a job now. To my surprise I also got a call for interview form Hewlett Packard due next month.
Now I feel that the happiness which deserted me has finally came back...:)

Travel Diary

Ghalib said-
“Sair kar duniya ki ghalib, zindagani fir kahan
Zindagani gar rahi, to naujwani fir kahan”
These are indeed very true lines. Travelling removes all boredom and mental stress form your life. The term “ghumna” fills you with energy and exuberance. In fact, I had a recent trip to Meenakshi temple, . Kanyakumari, Rameshwaram and Kovalam beach. It was a marvelous trip and I had wonderful time.
GOPURAM of Meenakshi Temple
The journey started with Meenakshi temple, which is situated in Madurai. Thousands of devotees stand in queues just for one glimpse of the idol of Goddess Meenakshi. All the differences are cast out and they know only one language i.e “devotion.” Same was case in Rameshwaram temple. What struck me other than the crowd at temples was the design of temples. It was magnificent. The “Gopuram” of the temple was made in an amazing way. It is prominent feature of temples made in Dravidian style. It was carved out with stones. I wonder how such a stupendous design would have possible at that time when we did not even had electric tools.

Next in the line were Kanyakumari and Kovalam beach. Sunset at Kanyakumari was main attraction and it too was impeccable.
The journey ended at Kanyakumari. I came back to my home hoping that will soon set on another wonderful trip.

Happy Engineer's Day

4 years passed and each year I kept promising myself "next year se pakka padhunga." These four years was best time of my life and I enjoyed every moment of it. In fact it was period of my transition from an ordinary man to an "Engineer."
The journey started on 18th august 2008 and finished on 31st may 2012. Finally  I became an engineer. I  must say that in present world, Engineering can be a religion. If I meet 5 people a day, atleast 1 of them is an engineer. And today is Engineer's day. The historical significance of the is that today is birth anniversary of late Shri. Visvesvaraya. The world is full of engineers and it owes its development to them.
To those who are unaware of engineering, i will describe it as a course(to be specific in UPTU) which produces all rounder humans with high intellectual quotient. They can tell you philosophy, can teach you economics, geography, polity etc. To be precise they can teach you everything except the one they have mastered.
Pure 4 saal lagte hain aadmi ko engineer banane mein..,
phir chahe puri zindagi laga do use wapas insan nahin bana sakte !!!
job nahin to kya hua.,engineer to hum hain hi... :)

so to all those who have suffered the pain of an engineering degree - Happy Engineers Day.

A ray of HOPE

They say it is so easy to find aimless guys here and yes they might be true. But in order to understand what "aimless" means, we must know what 'aim' means...
To some people, their aim is clear when they are in 10th or 12th. Some are even more better and they know their aim during their 4th or 5th standard(Govind Jaiswal knew that he has to become an IAS when he was  in 5th grade). But there are other people as well who hardly get time to full fill their wishes because most of the time they are busy in fulfilling their parents' dream.
The interest and enthusiasm is a very important reason for anyone to do a task. A dish is absolutely tasteless without no salt in it. Similarly a man doing task without having passion to do it will never succeed. Even if he succeeds, he will never be mentally happy. There are times in life  when happiness seems a myth, a chimera, a bedtime story for children, a poor urban legend. But the beauty of human nature is being optimistic in spite of all the odds.
Even we are surrounded by so much sadness, we never give up. Always hope that there will be something good now.
It may be a tub of warm water to put your aching feet in or the cool touch of the pillow’s other side.... :)
