2012 was an amazing year, had many experiences but most of them being bad ones. I faced lot of disappointments and in the end a very very good news. Yet I learned a lot from my mistakes and failures and I can say that I ended up through one of the saddest phases of my life.
The year started with the last semester of college and I was very excited as it was going to be the end of college life. The last semester was a get-together sem. We had lot of parties to celebrate most of them being birth day parties. The sad part was that not even a single company visited our college and we all were unplaced.
May came and we were done with our exams and finally we became ENGINEERS but none of us had job. Everyone was happy but none had job offer. Each one of us was going to pursue our own goals, our own way and this was going to be fun I guess. And then the struggle started. Few guys went for M.Tech and few for MBA, while others like me choose to search job.
In the month of October, I was offered a position of ASSISTANT MANAGER at ICICI Bank. I was not interested in the bank job so I planned not to take it but the question was what to do next. I gave interviews at various companies but could not make through. It was the worst phase of my life I will say. I was beginning to loose faith in myself but my parents and friends supported me a lot during that critical phase.
And then finally on 16th Dec., I got an offer letter from ACCENTURE. All's well that ends well. 2012 left, leaving behind a lot of happiness. So 2012 was a mixed experience, ups and downs. Sometimes I felt that I am lost but I found my way. This is what is called life.
